Enter/Backspace/Tab/Shift+Tab, Cmd+Shift+Up/Down moves lines, Alt+Up/Down jumps to the line's start/end. Gutter: click a number to select the line, ▾ to fold. Type P! / Mem! / A! / M! / L! / G! on a line to attach an app; its icon appears at the right and the sidebar opens. M!add: text! posts to the thread without opening it. Under a G! line the product list appears on its own: Option+Down reaches into it, Enter takes the highlighted item, Right at the end of the line takes the grey suggestion; Ctrl+Space shows completions anywhere; ! alone lists the keywords; #word is a tag: drawn as a chip; # alone lists the tags; the palette jumps to them ("Go to #tag"). Line numbers: palette, "Show / hide line numbers". Night mode: palette, "Night mode on / off" (or the cog). $ alone lists the units ($$1.34 money, $%42 percent, $#4324 number, $h2.5 hours), drawn as values, and a G! list totals the money under it. Drag a gutter number to move a line; Cmd+Shift+M gathers lines, Cmd+Shift+Enter brings them to the caret. Cmd+K (or Cmd+Shift+P, or the commands button below) opens the command palette: actions for the line and block, editor commands, and apps to add. Hold the right Option key for the same list as a letter panel. Views: Alt+. focuses on the caret's tree (Alt+, back out, twice at the top for the document grid in that view; Alt+click a line number), Cmd+\ puts the same view side by side, the palette pops a tree out into a window. Your views are the tabs on the left, one shown at a time, each keeping its place: hold the right Cmd and press Up/Down to jump between them (Left/Right between the halves of a pair), right Cmd+Ctrl+Up/Down opens the same view again above or below (Left/Right beside it), right Cmd+Alt+arrow moves it. Drag a tab to reorder it, or onto another tab to put the two side by side. Click an app icon to open its sidebar beside the text (under it in a narrow column). Links: type [[ and pick a line (a link always points at a line); Cmd+click or Cmd+Enter follows; the back button (Cmd+Alt+Left) returns. Cmd+Shift+F or the magnifier searches everywhere (lines, documents, #tags, @people, files). $t friday 3pm puts a time on a line (the landing view lists today's and overdue lines); @name assigns; a project line's badge turns red when overdue. The circle above the cog is you. Drop a file on the landing view to keep it, or on a line to attach it.
